Two (pothole infested) roads at the ends of the Earth. If you’re a person with any inclination towards remote places these definitely scratch that itch.
Dawson City Round 2
Tombstone Mountains
Fall was just starting up here, this was around late August
First Arctic Circle Crossing of the trip
Peel River Ferry Crossing
How come we don't get cool shaped license plates

LAB ERROR (?) OOPS WE DEEP FRIED YOUR FILM
Last tree on the way up to Tuktoyaktuk
Made it. This is as far north as you can drive in Canada
Tuktoyaktuk, NWT. The summer road up here from Inuvik was only just opened in 2018 so this place is in its tourism infancy
A preserved schooner from the early 1900s. It's a memorial to a lot of brave seamanship plying the Beaufort Sea supplying villages and Catholic missions, as well as an unfortunate reminder of the forced transportation of local kids to Catholic residential schools.
Pile of random shit? I like this one idk why
Grandma's Kitchen, the only place to get a bite in town. Also probably one of the only places where you can try Beluga. The people that work/live here were incredibly hospitable, Grandpa even shared a few beers and let me pick his brain about growing up here.
He also let me wear his homemade winter wolverine hunting parka
The same family also runs the medical transport bus down to Inuvik
I'm impressed that VW bus made it all the way up here honestly
Artsy satellite dishes in Inuvik
US/Canada border but this time its late August instead of mid July. See next pic for reference
Dalton Highway
Article Circle Crossing 2
I GoPro time lapsed both roads, one of these days I'll get around to doing something with the footage. Good vibe Inuit was purchased from a shop in Tuk, it still lives there although it's turned mostly white from the sun
Pick your poison
Heading towards Atigun Pass. Too far north for trees again
Personal favorite tundra shot. The landscape up here is incredible this time of year. Plus all the mosquitos are dead
Misty Mountains
Caribou
Bantha
Made it. As far north as you can drive in North America.
My reward: a $200 tank of gas
Oil field worker housing
Tempting
My first glimpse of the aurora. I wasn't sure if it was a cloud or the lights til I looked at this on the camera

Got a full show this night. Had enough time to take a bunch of pictures and also just sit and marvel. Go see this shit before you die
Jeep ad 2
Aurora over a 1 am sunset is about as surreal as it gets
Southbound
